Caribbean Art Conference
CANCELLED FOR 2009
In 2008, ICAFair introduced an educational component that has developed into a larger conference.
A two-day Caribbean Art Conference will be held at the same time as the fair in a separate wing of the convention center. The educational programs serve to expand the public’s knowledge of Caribbean Art and understanding of the value to be gained by art collectors.
The conference will bring together art profressionals in an educational environment, and will help form a network of experts in such areas as art history, art criticism, and most importantly in art appraising.
Guided Art Tours
Would you like to learn more about Caribbean Art? Or about our selected exhibitors? Take a guided art tour with one of our experts in the field. This is an excellent opportunity to meet artists from various Caribbean islands, and to gain appreciation and understanding of the rich artistic heritage of the region.
Guided art tours are offered daily, one hour before fair opening. Cost is $25 and includes admission to the show. Registration will begin in May 2009. Join our mailing list to receive updates.
